Target was founded over a century ago and has moved both with the times and technology.  So how does this old timer fare on the virtual shopping scene?

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded. .
Target on Target

Target has a colorful, glossy website which showcases catalog-style photos of their range of homeware products.  These pictures are of different rooms and highlight individual product details as you rest your mouse upon particular items in the room.  You can click to see further product information or to add items to your cart.

In addition to this novel style of navigation there is the more standard navigation tool.  This is logical, easy to follow, split into categories and sub categories and provides both product information and customer reviews.

The navigation on this site is creative, user-friendly and does a great job compared to other online shop sites. Top marks.

Why is it different to other stores online? We graded on originality, design, backgrounds, colors, style and innovation..

The site has some nice extras like gift registries and pages giving sizing information on products such as bedding and clothes.  There is also a gift wrapping service. The

fact that their site makes every effort to provide services that some companies reserve for stores demonstrates the efforts they have made to provide an online store that is on par with that on offer at their shops.

This whole site emanates quality, from the glossy photos to the snazzy navigation and broad range of services.  In terms of customer focus these guys are falling over themselves and innovation abounds.

How easy is it to locate and use the online shopping cart? We check out the check out..
The shopping cart flows logically and items can be easily removed or updated.  The site also facilitates order tracking and product returns.

What do you get for your money? How competitive are the prices, what can you get for your money and are there special deals for online customers?.

Target’s ethos is to help customers find quality products at affordable prices and they have an ongoing mission for customers to "Expect More. Pay Less."

We price checked a few items and they came back as being very competitive.  For a site that has such a luxurious feel it is refreshing to see that their pricing policy is competitive.
