The site is split into product ranges; Windows, Office, computers, gaming etc. so finding what you are looking for is nice and easy.

The listings are split into price ranges with each individual product accompanied by a short description.  When clicked on more detailed and technical information is available.

The site paces itself nicely and you can dig deeper as products take your interest.  A well thought out site that is easy to use.

Why is it different to other stores online? We graded on originality, design, backgrounds, colors, style and innovation..
Microsoft’s online store is well organized, easy on the eye and simple to use.
However, there are no surprises or innovative touches that you might expect from
such technical gurus.

How easy is it to locate and use the online shopping cart? We check out the check out..

The shopping cart is accessible from all parts of the site and uses encryption technologies for customer security.

With software purchases customers are given the choice to download, download with backup or ship.The cart flows in a logical order and is easy to use. Orders can be tracked by customers from their account management page.

What do you get for your money? How competitive are the prices, what can you get for your money and are there special deals for online customers?.
Microsoft state that they ‘do not have a price match guarantee and will not match the advertised prices of other retailers for the same items.’ When we trawled the net we easily found a range of suppliers undercutting Microsoft’s prices.
