How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded. .
Zara Fashion

Zara have a flashy, gimmicky online store that is full of colorful photographs, music clips and graphics. However trawling through their range of products is painful.  You are not given enough filtering options and finding specific items of clothing is not made simple.

You move from one slow loading page to another and several pages have the bottom cut off by the base menu bar. The Zara site looks great but is all a bit ‘style over substance’.

Why is it different to other stores online? We graded on originality, design, backgrounds, colors, style and innovation..

The Zara site is a functionless extravagance. It serves no purpose whatsoever, giving only limited details about their range and not containing a shopping cart.  It consists of glossy photos of their clothes range but because the navigation is so poor and you cannot locate specific items easily; using the site is slow and frustrating.
The only nice thing we can think of to say about the site is that we quite liked the ability to view clothes from the back but that hardly compensates for the major flaws of this virtual store.

The site is just to showcase their ranges and does not include a shopping cart.  For a high street shop like Zara this is a serious letdown and something their customers would surely expect.
