NBC Store

ShopNBC is famous for its range jewelry, watches and other accessories but has now branched out into other areas, such as electrical goods and homeware.  Their range of products is much narrower than many other e-shopping sites.

As with other shopping channel sites, ShopNBC caters for the female market and has products focused around the purchasing needs of women.  Aside from a few electronic products there is little to interest the remaining half of the population.

How large is the brand range on this site? Are we limited to a narrow selection of big name brands or does this site offer real consumer choice?.

There is a good range of brands on the Shop NBC site; all the familiar names are there.

The choice however, is a little thin on the ground, with fewer branded models on offer within the different product categories when compared to other sites.

This webshop contains comprehensive information on each product as well as sales videos, where available. There were also customer reviews for some items.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain e-shop?.
There is a clearance page that can be filtered by price, category, percentage reduction etc.  There were a range of discounted items, mainly clothing and smaller products.  Electrical items tended not to be on the clearance section.  You can find bargains on this site but the biggest deals are on the unknown brands and less popular items.
