Zoovy is not Groovy

Integrated with e-Bay, Amazon, Shopping.com and other market places. Zoovy offers a flexible system of placing products on a range of market places and online stores, all tied into a single database and administrated through a single Zoovy checkout which maintains all orders and paperwork.

There is a one time set up fee of $150 plus a 2% success fee each month based on pre tax and shipping sales figures. There is also a minimum monthly account charge based on additional services provided by Zoovy, such as auction, order or customer management.

The provision of these services is helpful but once you look at all the trimmings, the costs do start to mount up.

Zoovy is not a social marketplace in its own right. It facilitates other businesses to trade on market places and online stores. It is a vendor’s service not a buyer’s domain.

Very important for marketplaces - how well organized are the product or service categories? Is it easy to find what you are looking for? Or is this a maze?.

The site is quite basic and although it offers clear explanations we were left scraping around for some of the answers to our questions. Some tinkering with the page structure and navigation would enhance the site.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

There is a phone number, email and mailing address. We would have liked a thorough FAQ or knowledge base on this site. The information provided was minimal and much of it needed probing further with practical questions. It all read a little too theoretical for our liking and was hard to apply to individual circumstances.

There is no marketplace content on this site, it is a facilitation service.

The comprehensiveness of information on the Zoovy site itself is inadequate. There is, for example, no way to find out about the costs involved without registering. The services offered by Zoovy also needed padding out to understand exactly what was on offer.
