The comparison feature does a good job of finding the same product being sold at a variety of online stores.  These products are presented in a list which includes product specifications, price and customer reviews.

Very important for shopping comparisons - how well organized are the product or service categories? Is it easy to find what you want to compare? Or is this a maze?.

The navigation was not as good as other sites. For a start you had to click on the categories button on the home page to bring up the initial product groups. The sub categories appeared as pull down menus but we much preferred the directory style lists that other sites use.

The next level though does, indeed, produce a nice clear list to select from. Finally, like an unexpected crescendo at the end of a symphony, there is an impressive range of filters to aid your final search.  Overall, it takes too many clicks to get to where you need to be and the presentation of options, particularly at the beginning of navigation, is too basic.

What types of products can I buy and sell on this site? Or what can't I buy and sell on this site? We know the deal..
There is no shortage of products here.  Not only are thousands of stores listed on the site but there are lots of alternatives that get listed in the price comparison service. The site therefore has breadth and depth.

How large is the brand range on this site? Are we limited to a narrow selection of big name brands or does this site offer real consumer choice?.
This site links in to an extensive range of online stores and is able to link in to all the major brands.  The filtering system also includes the ability to sort by brand.

Does the site offer a comprehensive product search tool? If so, how accurate is its findings?.
The navigation on dealtime.com may not be the best but the search tool coped well with every challenge we put its way.

Listings include a photo, price and reviews.  Individual reviews can be ticked to assemble a side-by-side comparison of different products or you can compare the same product from different stores too.

There is extensive information on the products available as well as customer reviews to compare shops and products.,

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..
We couldn’t find any help function at all on the site.  However we found the shopping.com help contacts when we clicked on the user agreement.  Pretty poor show -  every site should have a contact point  without exception.
